CHRISTMAS: Where Hope Lives
Where does hope live? People have looked for hope in many different places, but the message of Christmas is that hope lives where Jesus shows up. Christmas makes clear that He is not picky when it comes to where He shows up. On that first Christmas, times were hard. The future was uncertain. Pressures were mounting. And circumstances went from bad to desperate. Does this sound like life where you live right now? There is some good news. Christmas is God’s gift of hope for you. To paraphrase the angels, “Right now, whatever your life looks like and whatever you are going though, a Savior has been born for you”. He is not distant. He knows what you are going through. He has seen you at your worst. But He comes precisely where you need Him the most. He comes because He loves you. He forgives you. And if you but receive Him, He comes to give you hope for a better future. You see, hope lives wherever God shows up. Christmas is where hope lives. Come experience it for yourself!
We have three services for Christmas Eve. They are:
4:00 pm in the Family Life Center (There is a children’s message at this service. Also, our nursery is available for children ages 3 and under at this service only.)
8:00 pm and 10:00 pm in the Worship Center
Come join us at one of our services and experience “Where Hope Lives!”
Volunteers Needed for Christmas Eve
On Christmas Eve, members and guests will be greeted with the sights, sounds, and scents of Christmas! Could you help welcome our guests or serve refreshments? Greeters and servers are needed prior to the Christmas Eve services. We are also in need of ushers during the services and people to donate cookies to enjoy after the 4:00pm service. If you would love to help but can’t make the commitment for Christmas Eve, we will also need people to help take down the decorations on January 3. Click Here to sign up.
