We at Shepherd’s Gate are taking a bold step to bring our Freedom Service to Macomb County in 2013 by going to the Macomb Center for the Performing Arts (MCPA).   Why would we move from our church to MCPA?  So that everyone has a chance to hear the Gospel of Jesus!  Help us spread the word to invite the active and veteran military personnel, friends and neighbors, and the general public to this inspiring and uplifting worship service to celebrate our freedom in America and to honor active military and veterans. Warmly welcome everyone through our guest services teams and parking lot teams.

Hometown hero Army Sgt. Davin Dumar will share his amazing story about how his faith in God was renewed after he was critically injured when he stepped on an improvised explosive when deployed in Afghanistan.   Davin not only survived multiple surgeries and rehabilitation at Walter Reed Hospital in Washington D.C., he and his wife, Dana, received a stunning gift through Kid Rock and the nonprofit organization “Operation Finally Home” that gives help to returning wounded military.  There will be a freewill offering to support this organization.

What better way to declare the good news that God sent His Son into the world so He could welcome us home to be with Him forever than by gathering people from all across our tri-county to generously help returning wounded men and women in our armed services! This isn’t just a “feel good” worship service, but an opportunity to personally show appreciation to all who have sacrificed to serve in the military. We must not let those who have sacrificed so much be forgotten. Let’s clearly tell them, “Welcome Home!”  in both our words and actions.

Dear members and friends of Shepherd’s Gate, you are the key to success of this outreach to our tri–county area of Macomb, Oakland and Wayne.  Your prayers, your boldness to invite your family, friends, co-workers, any military – active or veteran – and your personal effort to be at the Macomb Center for the Performing Arts will make this a powerful opportunity for everyone to hear the Gospel of Jesus.

Pastor Jon

This looks to be an exciting event. A great opportunity to honor and thank the men and women who serve and have served in our military!

Hi there! I know this is kinda off topic however I’d figured I’d ask.

Would you be interested in exchanging links or maybe guest authoring
a blog article or vice-versa? My blog addresses a lot
of the same topics as yours and I feel we could greatly benefit from each other.
If you are interested feel free to send me an email.

I look forward to hearing from you! Awesome blog by the way!

Calling restoration professionals would enhance the chances of getting the library back in its previous
shape. High quality services should always be offered in exchange with expensive rates and fees.
They will not only get the water up and out of your home, but cut the mold out
    as well.
