Home for Christmas

The idea of being home for Christmas might bring out a lot of emotions and feelings for you. Maybe it’s exciting  to be able to get back home and see your family to catch up on their lives and reminisce about old times. But maybe for you there’s apprehension about being home, or you don’t even know what it means to be home for Christmas. You might struggle with knowing where home truly is. Even if you’re looking forward to being home for Christmas you might run into some unexpected surprises, family disappointments, crises you don’t know how to handle and more. In this series we’ll take a look at what the people in the Christmas story faced as they joined in with their family for the first Christmas and learn from their successes and failures with how they handled their first Christmas. We’ll end with a look at our journey home for Christmas as we realize that home is really where our heart is and if our heart is with Jesus, no matter where we go, what we deal with or what happens in life we can have peace knowing that we’re already home with Him.
