The season we have been in, whether we asked for it or not, has demanded us to be more present. Perhaps in the past few months we have noticed how distracted we usually live our lives. Being present is not our default in a quickly paced culture. This creates a tension: even in difficult seasons, do we try to keep up the pace, or do we end the race, and find real rest in Jesus? Living in the present tense means seeing the people around us.
