Family of God Lutheran Church hosts the Luke Clinic on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays each month, providing critical care to moms and babies in Southwest Detroit.

The Luke Clinic tackles high infant and maternal mortality rates by offering healthcare, education, and community support in a safe, welcoming environment. Many moms arrive stressed and unsure about their pregnancies, and the clinic builds trust through compassionate care.

To give the clinic privacy, Family of God serves meals outside—and that’s where you come in.

We need groups to make 100 bagged lunches for those Thursdays. You can prepare them at home in advance or at SG after 1p on Thursday, and they should be in the gym fridge by 4p. Delivery is covered—we just need the lunches!
