Speaker: Zane Simon
People let us down, it’s a fact of life. Despite our best intents, we let others down as well. How can there be trust when we can’t follow through on our best intentions? When Jesus had his last dinner with his disciples, the night before his death, he looked out at a group of men who would, among other things, deny they knew him, betray him, and run away from him. And yet, He spoke of them as friends, washed their feet, and spoke encouraging words of comfort to them. What kind of love is this, that knows the worse but believes the best? Can we have this kind of love today?
