Two of our partner organizations, Macomb County Winter Shelter (MCWS) and Camp Restore Detroit, have joined forces and are now both based at the former Trinity Lutheran Church in Warren. The building and grounds still need significant repairs and improvements to better welcome homeless guests and Camp Restore missionary groups.
Shepherd's Gate is partnering with this vital initiative, and we need your help to prepare the building for the upcoming winter. This is your chance to impact lives in our community October 20-25!
We're looking for compassionate volunteers like you to:
- Make essential repairs
- Help with crucial prep work
- Paint and brighten up spaces
- Clean out spaces/closets
- Make/deliver lunches
- Help with Family Fun Day (Saturday) activities
Your time and effort will transform the building into a warm, welcoming haven for our less fortunate neighbors. Join us in living generously this Fall. Together, we impact the world with the love of Jesus!
